Marathon Infinity
Navigate shifting timelines and alien installations in the final game of the Marathon trilogy.
Bungie and Double Aught, 1996

This entry uses Bungie's freely distributable original Marathon Infinity archive, kept unchanged.
Gameplay

Impossible timelines
Infinity is the trilogy turning inward. Its campaign slips between failed timelines, dreamlike repetitions and the threat of something ancient being released from Lh'owon's sun. Familiar rooms return with different meanings, and the terminals ask you to assemble the story rather than simply receive it. It is deliberately disorienting—and much richer after the first two games.
