Into Sosaria
Gather a party, explore towns and dungeons, and survive the road across Sosaria in LairWare's colorful Macintosh adaptation of Ultima III. The original v1.3 archive includes a sample party, so you can set out from the title screen without creating characters first.
This is the unregistered shareware release. Its included Read Me First allows the complete, unchanged archive to be shared, and explains that unregistered players cannot travel to Ambrosia or raise their abilities. No registration code is included or applied here.
The unchanged archive reaches the overworld in both Systemless and BasiliskII. In the release-mode browser build, choose Continue Anyway if the bundled UltimaThree font warning appears, then press Space through the title sequence and choose Journey Onward to use the included sample party. The promoted archive was verified through that overworld scene.

Original 68k-compatible Ultima III v1.3 shareware archive, 2,923,877 bytes, SHA-256 0be5463e37cb057f56fd28c9d68a4171ff2f44ee84efe6bbf55af0a4e841de6c. The unregistered game allows play but prevents travel to Ambrosia and raising abilities. The developer's later MIT source-code license does not cover every franchise asset; distribution of this original archive relies on its own bundled shareware terms.
